Hybrid Test Set Modernization Kits

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC)

(CAGE: 98247) of Ontario, Canada, for the procurement of one (1) set of three (3) Hybrid Test Set (HTS) Modernization Kits, this includes (3) Terminal Printer, (3) Synchro Resolver, (3) Angle Position Indicator (API), (3) Hi Accuracy API, (3) Disc Drives with an additional (1) Media Conversion Software, (1) Extra Disc Drive and (1) Panel PC and two (2) on-site verification efforts, in support of the F/A-18 FMS program. The CCC will subcontract this effort in its entirety to Arcfield (CAGE: L0296), of AB, Canada.

This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the government will consider all responses received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the synopsis.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
