N66001-25-Q-6004 - Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Keysight Technologies

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Keysight Technologies (Cage: 7ZXR5 // Address: 1900 Garden Of The Gods RD Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907-3423 United States). The requirement is for the purchase of the following:

Item 0001: M9384B/US59010136 VXG Microwave Signal Generator repair Manufacturer: Keysight Technologies QTY: 1 NIWC Pacific requires a repair service agreement for their Keysight Technologies test and measurement equipment. Support ensures equipment will provide accurate and precise readings to conduct testing in support of NIWC PAC. Keysight Technologies shall provide repair and calibration services for one (1) VXG Signal Generator M9384B. Performance shall take place 100% at the contractor's facility.

The Government intends to negotiate solely with Keysight Technologies under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 -- Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services apply. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.

However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 811210 and the business size standard is $34.0 (in millions). Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
