Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Order to Bison Group USA, Inc.

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Bison Group USA Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106?1(b) due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs.

C-Lift T Series System. This is a hydraulic lifting leg set for the VLFT Transmitter Container. This Lift System will provide ease of transport including loading and unloading from flat-bed trucks.

The requesting Code requires a system with a 20 ton lift capacity that can handle the 20'X40'X45'H container size. Additionally, the system must be mobile and integrate with the container to load/unload the container from flat-bed truck without the need for a crane. The lift system must also have an integrated self-leveling capability. Bison Group USA Inc. is the only manufacturer to meet all requirements in combination.

They have a unique system design that provides both integration on the container with a self-leveling capability feature. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of supplies provided.

Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 11:00 AM PST on 09 April 2024. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply.
