Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to provide technical assistance services to the Shipyard, during disassembly, on load, reassembly and reinstallation of the high-pressure, oil-free air compressors (Model 5R5-75B), manufactured by RIX Industries, using Advanced Equipment Repair Program (AERP) assets provided by the Government Project.
The Contractor will support conduction of Satisfactory Operational Testing with ship and shipyard support. The Contractor shall provide on-site technical support if repairs are required. Maintenance and Operational Testing shall be within the contract duration allowed. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools and materials in order to accomplish the technical assistance.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repair; size standard for this NAICS is 1,300 employees. Product Service Code is J020 -Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul of Ship & Marine Equipment. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary.
The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline. In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform requirements in accordance to the attached draft Performance Work Statement are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 03:00 HST on 11 June 2025.
