Virginia-class Submarine Propeller Shaft Peening Repair

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract for the repair of the Propeller Shaft Peening on a Virginia-class Submarine. The required work shall take place at the PHNSY & IMF. The contractor must ensure that they can meet qualifications in the SOW, WI 243-11-001. This requirement will be performed at PHNSY & IMF, JBPHH, HI.

The tentative start date is 13 MAY 2024 with a delivery date of 1 JUNE 2024. Please refer to the SOW attached in this notice. The solicitation number for this requirement is N32253-24-Q-0034. Proposals will be due on 15 APRIL 2024 at 0900 HST. Submissions are to be emailed to both the primary and the secondary point of contacts listed in this posting. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular (FAC) 2024-03, DFARS (02/15/2024) and NMCARS 18-22. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standards for this NAICS code is 1,300 employees. Please note the following for N32253-24-Q-0034: Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 provides instructions on what documents must be included in your submission. Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 provides evaluation factors upon which all submitted proposals will be evaluated. The information for FAR 52.204-26 and FAR 52.212-3 will be verified in SAM.gov. If the Offeror has selected "Does" for FAR 52.204-26, then the Offeror shall fill out FAR 52.204-24: Section (d)(1) and Section (d)(2) of this solicitation.
