Radio Frequency Interfere Filters

All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Sheila Cooper at sheila.a.cooper4.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on 20 May 2024. Solicitation N0042124Q0263 is issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation.

The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with EMS Development Corporation for Radio Frequency Interfere Filters items listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: These filters are custom manufactured parts for the AN/UPX-24(V), CP-1273/UPX-24(V) Control Processor which have been formally environmentally tested and certified as an assembly for shipboard installation.

Offerors must be registered in SAM.GOV database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.SAM.gov. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. This notice of intent to Sole Source with EMS Development Corporation vendors must be authorized distributor and provide signed documentation to be considered.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time on 20 May 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
