NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial Sole Source contract to ZEETACHEC LLC (CAGE CODE: 9TQP0), 1855 1ST AVE STE 103, San Diego, California, 92101-2650, United States, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This requirement is for delivery, implementation, and support of the Zeetachec Maritime Training System, a state-of-the-art training system designed for the US Navy EOD forces to enhance underwater mine detection and clearance training.

The Zeetachec Maritime System includes the Zeeta Fuze, Zeeta Buoy, Zeeta RF Receiver, and Zeeta Mock Sea Mine. These components work together to simulate underwater minefield(s), providing realistic training environments. This requirement involves the delivery of material goods (the prototype system components) along with a maintenance plan. It does not constitute a service contract, although limited support and training are provided as described.

The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice by 6 September 2024 12:00 p.m. PST via e-mail to patricia.castillo26.civ@us.navy.mil.

Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
