F-35 Joint Program Office Haswell IG Replacement

The F-35 Joint Program office puts forth its requirement for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) for the replacement of the Haswell and Broadwell Image Generators (IGs) with an IG that is compatible with the Windows 10 (WIN10) Operating System (OS). Several currently fielded simulators are configured with Haswell and Broadwell IGs that are not capable of running WIN10 OS, an update that is required to meet DoD cyber policy. As such, those systems must be updated to the Aechelon IGs, which are the future hardware architecture for the F-35 simulators visual systems. Engineering is required to execute the integration of the Aechelon IGs with the remaining components of the visual systems.
