Several currently fielded simulators are configured with Haswell and Broadwell IGs that are not capable of running WIN10 OS, an update that is required to meet DoD cyber policy. As such, those systems must be updated to the Aechelon IGs, which are the future hardware architecture for the F-35 simulators visual systems.
