X-ray CT Load Frame

This requirement is for Micro-Computed Tomography (CT) System at Air Force Research Lab, Wright-Patterson AFB in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RXN).

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 334516. The Air Force Research Lab (AFRL/PZLEQ), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, intends to award a sole source purchase order authorized by 10 USC 3572, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 USC 1901), as implemented by FAR 13.5, DFARS 213.5, and AFFARS 5313.5 (incorporating AFFARS 5306.304) to TESCAN USA, Inc. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.

A determination by the Government for the competition of this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses should be e-mailed to kara.loeber@us.af.mil no later than 18 April 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. Only responses received by this date will be considered. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads “Micro-Computed Tomography (CT) Sys at Air Force Research Lab” Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe, or .zip files). Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters.

Also be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB. If sending attachments with e-mail, ensure only .PDF, .doc, docx, xls, or .xsls documents are sent. The e-mail filter may delete any other form of attachments.
