Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Beacon Point Associates

The Defense Health Agency, on behalf of Naval Medical Center, San Diego (NMCSD) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a (Commercial), Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Beacon Point Associates. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition, FAR 13.501 (a), Sole Source Acquisitions.

The requirement is for the lease (with the option to purchase) of System 9 Equipment along with Procare Maintenance. Please see attached for additional information. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.

However, sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrations the capability to provide the supplies validated by STRYKER. Capability statements shall not exceed 6 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the government.

A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.
