Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5, a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract to Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and email requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This contract action is for the HIMSS Annual PLOAP membership subscription. The contractor shall provide the following subscription services: Premier Level Membership. The Organizational Affiliate program premier level membership shall provide unlimited complimentary individual memberships. Membership Benefits shall provide individual and enterprise level benefits that will expand BOD’s ability to network, provide education, and create partnerships for health IT initiatives.

The Organizational Affiliate program shall also provide online access to register members, and a designated Relationship Manager who helps to maximize the benefits available to program members. 255 complimentary registrations to HIMSS U.S.-based events The Contractor shall provide the membership subscription for one (1), six (6) month Base period plus three (3), twelve-month Option periods. FAR clause 52.217-8 is included in this contract. This procurement will be made utilizing procedures in FAR Part 13.5. See attachment for additional information.
