Notice of Award of Sole Source Contract for Armed Services Blood Program Annual Accreditation Subscription

The purpose of this award synopsis is to post the sole source justification and authorization (JAFY250116), redacted, for the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP) Annual Accreditation Subscription Services Membership.

The contract supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the ASBP by maintaining annual site memberships and accreditations of Transfusion Services (TS) and Blood Donor Centers (BDC) to include providing updated electronic-learning (eLearning) subscription services based on current regulatory guidance as well as obtaining accreditation for non-accredited locations. The requirements allows compliance with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDi) 6480.04 ASBP Operational Procedures, 3.1.c.

General Provisions, which states blood collection and transfusion facilities must be maintained using the AABB accreditation. The contract is for a base period of twelve months and four 12-month options.
