The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as part of a market research effort to identify domestic manufacturers and vendors capable of providing specialty evaporative cooling supplies. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. 2. Scope of Requirement The Government is seeking information on the availability of the following specific items. A key objective of this research is to confirm the Country of Origin and compliance with the Buy American Act (BAA) or Trade Agreements Act (TAA) as applicable.

The Government will use the results of this market research to determine if the requirement can be set aside for small businesses or if a waiver for domestic preference is required based on lack of American-made availability.
