Technical Specifications 20 Ton Industrial Water Chiller 1. General & Operational Data/Specifications a. Must be rated for continuous usage b. Ambient working limits: Minimum requirements are +14 Fahrenheit (?F) or -10 Celsius (°C) through +113 ?F or 45 °C c. Cooling capacity (Capacity based on 45 ?F or 7.22 °C water outlet temperature): 10 ?F or -12.22 °C delta at 95 ?F or 35 °C ambient temperature i. Twenty (20) tons, minimum capacity ii.

239,756 British thermal units (BTUs) per hour (BTUs/hr.), minimum capacity d. Must be designed to use water as a medium e. Cooling Water flow rate: 50 gallons per minute (GPM) or 189.27 liters (L), minimum flow rate f. Head Pressure: Fifty (50) pounds per square inch (PSI) at a flow rate of 46 gallons or 174.12L per minute (GPM) g. Refrigerant Type: R-410A h. Noise rating: Not-to-exceed 69 decibels (dBs) at thirty-two feet (32’) or 10 meters (m) 2. Reservoir/Self-Contained Water Tank: a. Fifty-five (55) gallon or 208.19L minimum capacity b. Chiller is to only operate using water contained in a reservoir/self-contained tank; an external water supply IS NOT required, except to fill the reservoir/self-contained tank. c. Tank is to be stainless steel.

Portability must be maintained while meeting all requirements in these specifications b. System must be self-contained on a movable skid/frame c. Skid/frame is to have lifting hole to allow forklift to move system d. Only permitted items to be disconnected for portability are:

i. Power Source identified in 3.a.iv ii. Fluid connections identified in 3.b.i and 3.b.ii e. Drain reservoir/self-contained tank of water 6. Clearance Spacing. The following states minimum space must be provided between the system and an obstacle-- a. Side Clearances: Required clearance for any side of unit is not-to-exceed six and one-half feet (6.5’) or 1.98m b.
