BAUER SCUBA compressor relocation

In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1), this is a notice of intent to award as sole-source order. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. The 31 Contracting Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy intends to solicit, negotiate and award on a sole source basis a firm-fixed price purchase order to acquire a BAUER SCUBA compressor relocation to BAUER COMPRESSORI s.r.l.. BAUER COMPRESSORI s.r.l. is the only authorized company to perform work on BAUER systems.

In accordance with BAUER GROUP authorization letter dated 27 Feb 2023. Intent to purchase such items as described in attachment “SCUBA compressor relocation_salient characteristics_redacted”. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(l). There is no Small Business Set Aside. The applicable NAICS code 333912. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
