Notice of Sole Source: South Dakota Ellsworth 2 Air-Driven Haskel Boosters Rebuild Services

The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD intends to award a sole source contract to Dakota Fluid Power Inc. for 2 Air-Driven Haskel Boosters Rebuild Services.

APPLICABILITIY OF AUTHORITY: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this aquisition is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Department of the Air Force Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS). FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) justifies limiting the source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

This is a Sole Source Justification supporting the acquisition of 2 Air-Driven Haskel Boosters Rebuild Services for Ellsworth AFB, SD. The manufacturer Haskel is the only source authorized to rebuild the unit. Dakota Fluid Power is the only vendor identified in the local area that was able to inspect the machine and provide a quote.
