PACKING, CONTAINERIZATION AND LOCAL DRAYAGE OF DIRECT PROCUREMENT METHOD (DPM) PERSONAL PROPERTY SHIPMENTS

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued IAW FAR Parts 12 and 13 as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ number FA460026Q0011 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The 55th Contracting Squadron has an ongoing requirement to purchase services for packing, containerization, and local drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) personal property shipments.

The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of the personal property (including servicing of appliances) of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment, drayage and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM). Additional details and information about this requirement can be found in the attached Performance Work Statement. The expected contract vehicle will be an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Idefinite Quantity).
