SERE PRK's Offutt AFB

Justification Notice. 55 CONS awarded this requirement as a Sole Source to Hard Case Survival LLC due to specific need for Personnel Recovery Kits (PRK's) that are required for the 55th OSS/OSG to successsfully execute their mission. The 55 055 SERE program has been training 55 OG aircrew with these existing kits since October 2023. Procuring kit contents from multiple vendors that are built similarly, but to different specifications, would create a large training and operational use discrepancy in the program.

This would force the training program to adapt to the new kit contents and create uncertainty for Aircrew, should they need to rely on these kits operationally. Attached is the Sole Source Justification and Authoriy document with further information.
