Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) at JB MDL

Pre-Solicitation Notice: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government’s expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around Friday 3 June 2026. The solicitation number will be FA448426R0004. This requirement will be available for unrestricted competition.

Procurement Description: The 87th Contracting Squadron is procuring solid waste collection services for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The Period of Performance will be one, twelve-month base period and four, twelve-month option periods. The solicitation will result in a new Firm Fixed Price contract awarded highest rated offeror.

Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform integrated solid waste management of Municipal Solid Waste collection at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP).

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $47 million. Upon release to the public, the RFP, as well as any amendments, will be available at the SAM website https://sam.gov/. The RFP will specify the actual date and time for receipt of quotes. The RFP must be downloaded from SAM. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and no telephone request for paper copies will be honored.

In accordance with RFO provision 52.204-7, all Contractors doing business with the Department of Defense shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management database at https://sam.gov/ at time an offer or quote is submitted and at time of contract award.
