Intent To Sole Source - Eaker Center Control Rm AV Upgrade

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE in the form of a contract to NAS SOLUTIONS GROUP, LLC to provide Maxwell AFB’s Eaker Center with a Control Room Audio Visual Upgrade in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance of Work Statement (PWS).

Brief Description of Requirement: The contractor must route all video and audio hardware, software, and cabling in building #1404 to convert the design to a modern Audio-Visual over Internet Protocol running from each room/display into the control office Room 153. The design objective is to enable any device to connect to any other device within the facility. The contractor for this project is responsible for physically connecting and fully integrating the operation of the AV equipment within the building.

The upgraded rooms should be integrated in a whole-building design with operation from the central control room (Room 153). The contractor will be required to ensure existing GFE for this project is still under warranty which must be retained. Proper completion of this project will maintain and extend the warranty to cover any additional equipment added. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).

This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Those capable of meeting the requirement IAW the PWS are requested to provide the following information in their response: 1) Current capability that demonstrates your company's ability to meet the requirements as outlined in the attached PWS, 2) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number.
