The design objective is to enable any device to connect to any other device within the facility. The contractor for this project is responsible for physically connecting and fully integrating the operation of the AV equipment within the building. The upgraded rooms should be integrated in a whole-building design with operation from the central control room (Room 153). The contractor will be required to ensure existing GFE for this project is still under warranty which must be retained. Proper completion of this project will maintain and extend the warranty to cover any additional equipment added. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
