SSC History Office Exhibit Cleaning

The Space Systems Command (SSC) History Office located at Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) seeks to establish a contract for the monthly cleaning of the exteriors of display cases, the cleaning of the surfaces upon which they reside, any walls adjacent to or behind them that may require cleaning, all connected audio-visual equipment, freestanding exhibits, and any stanchions that are a part of the displays, as well as exterior caption signs, to include the busts of Schriever and Doolittle located in the Daedalian Room.

The contract will also include the quarterly cleaning of the interiors of all display cases. Extreme care will be required as artifacts can be fragile and irreplaceable. The quarterly cleaning of two outside exhibits is also part of this requirement. Cleaning products will have to follow museum standards so as to avoid damaging displays, the artifacts contained within, and any attached or included audio visual equipment. A site visit is required to review the scope of services to be performed and facilitate an accurate quoting of the requirement. Coordination will be requested to set up site visit date/time. See Attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Evaluation criteria (Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable)
