193 SOG Reusable Energy Absorbing Layer/Reusable Universal Skid Board

The 193d Special Operations Wing Contracting Office intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order for a United States Airforce tested and approve Reuseable Energy Absorbing Layer (REAL) and Reusable Universal Skid board (RUSB) to Quality Research & Developmetn Consulting Inc , a women owned small business.

Reuseable Energy REAL and RUSB increased durability, adaptable, dimensions, fast CDS bundle stage time, and WAR Reverse Material (WRM) complainant, which enable airlift squadron to maintain currency and proficiency to meet all training and mission objectives to maintain flying status. The total estimated value is under the SAT.

The reason for this noncompetitive contract action is that Quality Research & Development Consulting Inc has been deemed the sole provider of the materials needed to meet the governments requirements. The tested reasuable universal skidboards have been authorized for the airdrop of USAF UAT containers. Deviation to other vendors creates a potential risk for non-compatability for existing honeycomb EDMs. Authority to solicit with only one source is given via FAR13.106-1(b). This contract action will be awarded following the issuance of a written solicitiation with an anticipated award date of June 30th, 2025.
