Notice Of Intent To Award For Sole Source Vacuum Maintenance Services

The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source, contract to Dustcontrol Inc., 6720 AMSTERDAM WAY, WILMINGTON, NC 28405, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of Dustcontrol Inc., Vaccum Maitnance System control pannel along with set up and services to the updated system.

Due to the need for compatibility with the current system along with and increase in unique capabilities,Dustcontrol Inc., is the only source authorized to provide the needed servicies and panel to the Vaccum Maitenance System. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.

The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to william.gentry.8@us.af.mil and Beau.Burton@us.af.mil by the response date stated in this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No requests for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
