The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of Dustcontrol Inc., Vaccum Maitnance System control pannel along with set up and services to the updated system. Due to the need for compatibility with the current system along with and increase in unique capabilities,Dustcontrol Inc., is the only source authorized to provide the needed servicies and panel to the Vaccum Maitenance System. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement.
