Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Vendor Managed Inventory Neulasta Product

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Biomedical Advanced Research & Development Authority (BARDA) intends to use other than full and open competition to award a sole source contract to Amgen USA Inc. to extend vendor managed inventory (VMI) services for a previously purchased treatment for use in a mass casualty event where neutropenia or neutrophil loss is a major concern.

Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) is completing the award of a follow-on contract for additional radiation injury treatment products and VMI storage and potentially to replace the Neulasta Product, if it expires in order to maintain the treatment levels in case of a Medical Countermeasure event.
