Agenda Precision Targeting Industry Days Conference: The Product Manager Soldier Precision Targeting Devices (PdM SPTD) will conduct a three-day Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance (LASSO) Industry Day event to include all United States and Affiliated companies 29 October 2024 – 31 October 2024. Note 1: Industry Day will be held at the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level. At no time will any information provided be above the Unclassified level.
There is an Operations Security (OPSEC) requirement to assure all company attendees meet access requirements IAW 32 CFR 117, NISPOM and DoDM 5200.48, Controlled Unclassified Information. CUI information is not releasable to the public, therefore please coordinate with your Security Managers: Respond if your company and individuals attending both the brief and 1on1 discussions DO or DO NOT meet the requirements stated above.
There is a private room set-up for the afternoons 29 through31October 2024 for subcontractors to meet with prime vendors. Company responses should include a statement as shown: “attendees do meet the access requirements IAW 32 CFR 117, NISPOM and DoDM 5200.48, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).” Note 2: The intent of the 1on1 meetings with the United States Government (USG) are for prime vendors only and the information received will assist in market research.
A prime vendor is defined as one who could, if awarded a contract in the next six months, execute production of All Up Rounds, Fire Control Systems and Ancillary equipment within six months of contract award to allow simultaneous contractor and USG testing. If responding as a consortium or group of vendors, provide all pertinent information including, specialties and contributions.
USG encourages subcontractors and small businesses to collaborate with industry partners in developing and integrating systems within this space. There will be a dedicated room available during the 1on1 sessions for open use, for any subcontractors to hold presentations, and to facilitate opportunities to network with primes. There will be a signup sheet posted on the door for use of the room.
In addition, the USG representatives working at the Industry Day Registration Desk can answer questions and help with reserving space. PEO Soldier will also conduct meetings with parties interested in the system architecture and common controller efforts who are capable of managing complex software and software integration efforts, understanding interfaces and are knowledgeable about the full scope of existing and future systems and command and control infrastructure within the Army Infantry Brigade. Please see Section 5 of Questionnaire for description of System Architecture to assist with the White Paper and your level of interest and qualifications.
Conference Instructions:
1. The Industry Day will be held at Hilton Springfield (please see address above). Activities will begin at 9:00 AM EST on 29 October2024 and last until approximately 5:00 PM EST. The 1on1 sessions will be conducted starting at 1330 on 29 October through 31 October 2024.
2. ALL Industry Day participants must complete Section 1 of the questionnaire no later than (NLT) 14 October 2024. HARDWARE PRIME VENDORS ONLY must complete the full questionnaire (Section 1-4) by 14 October 2024 to be used during 1on1 sessions.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE PRIME VENDORS ONLY must complete information paper outlined in Section 5 of questionnaire NLT 14 October 2024. The information paper will only be accepted in following format: shall not exceed a total of 15 standard 8 1/2 inch X 11 inch (21.6 X 27.9 cm) pages, including cover page, budget, and all enclosures or attachments with margins of 1.0 inch minimum (2.5 cm). PdM SPTD has been approved for a Rapid Prototyping Middle Tier Acquisition Strategy and the information received will assist in market research.
3. Attendance is limited to U.S. Department of Defense personnel, U.S. Department of Defense contractors, and exceptions as approved by PdM SPTD. If an exception is desired, or foreign nationals are attending, request must be submitted by?name NLT 27 SEP 24 along with answered questions found in Section 1 of Questionnaire.
4. Questions during Day 1 open presentation can be submitted using the Quick Response Code (QRC). A QRC will be provided at the Registration Table on Day 1.
5. All company information briefed during 1on1 session will be provided to the Government Contracting Officer with proper Markings.
6. Companies interested in attending the Industry Days are requested to submit an email with the subject line “Attend LASSO Industry Days 2024” to all the following addresses: gabriel.h.feltenstein.civ@army.mil, yetunde.d.odubanjo.ctr@army.mil, demarcasa.d.jones.civ@army.mil, and scott.a.huelse.ctr@army.mil NLT 27 September 2024. Please provide the following information in your request to the previously stated recipients:
(a) Respond if the company and individuals attending the brief and 1on1 discussions DO or DO NOT meet the OPSEC CUI requirements.
(b) All company participants should be consolidated into one list within the email to the United States Government.
(c) Identify if the company is a DoD Contractor company and/or U.S. Affiliate.
(d) Company’s intent to request 1on1 meetings with the United States Government (USG). Remember this is for prime vendors only. As stated above, please consolidate all attendees from your company on one list. The USG intends to publish a list of vendors and participants for the Day 1 Brief, and no more than four personnel from each company will be allowed to attend. As stated above, if you are a prime vendor, please indicate if you desire a 1on1 session and include all information in Section 1 of the questionnaire.
