Notice of Intent to Sole Source - STONE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS

The 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan intends to award a sole source purchase order for ATOS/Ranger System. This system will be used for tool ordering on the for the 18th Maintenance Squadron.This system will utilize mobile devices and applications to turn these processes digital, allowing maintainers to order tools ahead of time, request and prioritize equipment delivery while clearing radio channels, and creating digital logs for all transactions.

This proposed contract action is for products/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Interested entries may submit clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to fully meet the requirement to the individual(s) identified below no later than January 15, 2023, 4:00 PM Japan Standard Time. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice.

If parties choose to respond, any costs associated with the preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows:

This procurement will be awarded on a sole source basis to Stone Maintenance Solutions LLC. Market research was conducted and it was determined that no other sources can provide the required ATOS/Ranger System for this requirement.
