Notice of Intent to Single-Source - VISION QUEST SOLUTIONS INC.

The Hill Air Force Base in Layton, Utah, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to Vision Quest Systems, Inc. to provide weapons detection systems for the 2024 Hill AFB Air Show. The period of performance will be 06/24/2024 to 06/27/2024.

The award will be a single source procurement awarded to Vision Quest Solutions, Inc. in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on continuity. The proposed action is a follow-on requirement to avoid loss in continuity and efficiency with direct patient care services.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Vision Quest Solutions, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to SrA Rony Exantus, Contract Specialist, at rony.exantus@us.af.mil by 10:00 AM MT on Monday, March 25, 2024. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
