Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Notice of Intent to Noncompetitively Award Purchase Order for RADMAN Training The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is attempting to acquire training that will provide an overview of RADMAN software functions and operations, sufficient to inform an inspectors’ evaluation of licensee use of the software.

The goals of the training are to familiarize inspectors with the capabilities and uses of RADMAN software, to familiarize inspectors with calculations and analyses performed by the software, and to familiarize inspectors with features/approaches they can use to evaluate how licensees use of this software in characterization, classification and shipment of radioactive waste comply with the regulatory requirements.

This will support NRC inspectors in proficiently completing required inspection procedures and in determining the safety and adequacy of nuclear power plants and other applicable NRC licensees. Based on the NRC’s recent market research, WMG is the only known way to acquire this technical assistance and is most effective to noncompetitively award to:

WMG 16 Bank Street Peekskill, NY 10566 The authority permitting this action is FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source, because the estimated value of this acquisition does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and there is only one source that has been identified that can assist the NRC to conduct the RADMAN training. The anticipated period of performance for the purchase order is Feb 15, 2025 – Feb Dec 14, 2030.
