SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following services listed below:

The purpose of this effort is to procure Air and Missile Defense Operational Test Suite (AMDOTS) Remote Monitoring Units (RMU) Extended Warranty Support. The acquisition strategy will be determined based on responses received from this notice and/or other market research methods. The government is seeking experienced companies for the following scope of work: The Freeway Monitor product was developed by Protogate, Inc. in response to the AMDOTS project request for standardized monitoring capability.

Within the AMDOTS project, the RMU provides data collection, and storage, and data transfer services with limited analysis for Missile Warning, Air Mission, and Space Sensor message collection and stand-alone post-test analysis capability. Stored data format is standardized across all locations which greatly reduces the post-test analysis time over previous methods of data collection.

The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 541511 which has a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00. The Product Service Code is DA10. Responses shall include Capabilities Statement with the following information: Company’s experience performing the work outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) as attached (indicate whether as a prime or subcontractor). Provide a brief description of the project, customer name, and dollar value of the project.

Provide Company’s Business Size-LB, SB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or WOSB. List Company’s CAGE Code and NAICS codes. Documentation on technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this project. Refer to the SOW. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this communication articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.

IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
