Notice of Intent to Award to a Single Source - St. Louis Pier Sewage and CGC Gasconade Sewage Offload

The United States Coast Guard Base New Orleans is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Budrovich Contracting Co. for the St. Louis Pier Sewage and CGC Gasconade Sewage Offload. This sole source was due to the urgency of the requirement. Due to the urgency of this requirement, it was not reasonable to take the time to go through the normal solicitation process.

The inability to pump the cutter sewage would have placed the unit in a Not Mission Capable (NMC) status and removed the asset from service, therefore this requirement was needed as soon as possible. In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2), all responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard.
