Notice of Intent – Security Forces Blue List Recon Drone

A determination not to compete this proposed contract was made pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). FlightWave Aerospace Systems Corp is the only known source that can provide a DIU Blue list certified reconnaissance drone with the required capabilities and without the need for additional logistical support to provide the aerial search, rescue, and interdiction needs of security forces. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Only one source is reasonably available based on their possession of exclusive licensing rights. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336411. Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities no later than 29 March 2024, at 2:30pm Alaska Daylight Time.
