Intent to Sole Source Equipment 6540

Notice of intent to sole-source requirement for the Indian Health Service, Yakama Service Unit, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement award under Simplified Acquisition Procedure and the authority of FAR 603.2-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The associated NAICS code for this request is 339115. The sole-source procurement award will be issued to L1 Enterprises, Inc. Description of goods/services: Spectralis Tracking Ocular Coherence Tomography system, including trade-in of the existing equipment, software, a two year warranty, delivery, installation and training of the system. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed vendor, possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement.

It is the Government’s intention to solicit and negotiate only with this source/vendor. This notice of intent is not request for competitive proposals. In accordance with FAR 5.207 all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available.

Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that demonstrates the ability to comply with this requirement and the competition would be advantageous to the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted. A determination not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely in the discretion of the Government.
