The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-06. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

The solicitation number for this acquisition is 75F4012Q00060 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard for NAICS 811210 is $34 million. The requirement will be awarded as Firm-Fixed Price and Small Business Set-Aside. Prospective Offeror’s are responsible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments from Sam.Gov.

The Government reserves the right to award this order without discussions if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial offer is providing the Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable to the Government and discussions are not necessary. The Government intends to issue a Purchase Order. The U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has a need to procure preventative maintenance for two (2) SciClone instruments.

Description:

Statement of Work Background: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a regulatory agency with responsibility for the safety of food for humans and animals and the safety and efficacy of drug, devices, and other medical products. In support of this regulatory mission, CVM runs a laboratory which conducts research/analysis using scientific instruments. This request is for service/maintenance on some of these instruments which are owned and operated by the FDA’s laboratory.

Scope of Work This procurement is for the establishment of a new base plus four option period purchase order for a preventative maintenance and repair service for two (2) SciClone instruments. Specific information for the instruments and current coverage is provided in the next section, followed by specific requirements of the maintenance agreement.
