5BDE Houston ISD JCLC/STEM Camp Meals

This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide meal services and dining facility usage to conduct the Houston ISD (HISD) JROTC JCLC STEM Camp 16-22 June 2024, for 240 Cadets and 60 Cadre from HISD JROTC Program and surrounding schools (24 Programs) within 10 miles of Galveston, TX. HISD has established a Drone/Robotics theme for its STEM Camp to fulfill the goal for a JCLC/STEM combined camp.

Additionally, HISD require co-located or on-campus dining services that provide meals and indoor facilities that is suitably located to the STEM classrooms with field trip accessibility to a water activity-based locations, outdoor challenge activities, and educational facilities.

The MICC - Ft Knox intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization) to support the US Army Cadet Command, 5BDE Houston ISD JCLC/STEM Camp Meals with a period of performance of 16 June 2024 to 22 June 2024. This solicitation will not be available through SAM.gov.
