Armed Protective Security Officer Services

The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division intends to issue a sole source extension of up to six months to the current ordering periods of the following multiple award contracts: 70RFP218DEC000015 (Golden SVCS LLC, 414 Old Holderford Road, Kingston, TN 37763) 70RFP218DEC000016 (Master Security Company LLC 10946 Beaver Dam Rd.

Ste D Hunt Valley, MD 21030) 70RFP218DEC000018 (Triple Canopy 13530 Dulles Technology Dr. Ste 500 Herndon, VA 20171) These proposed extensions will provide for continued protective security officer services at various locations in Washington DC and Maryland to allow time to award and transition the follow-on efforts for these services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with the aforementioned vendors under the authority of 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be made available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted to sam.gov following award.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $29 million. A determination to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice will be solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
