Posting of Request for Information (RFIs) regarding the associated solicitation posting from potential vendors, with Government responses.

RFI #1: The use of smaller, more readily available helicopters like the Robinson R44The use of smaller, more readily available helicopters like the Robinson R44. Will the Government allow for the use of a Robinson R44 or similar helicopter?

Government Response #1: Fort Cavazos requires turbine engine aircraft to meet the power requirement and flexibility for the type of missions we are conducting.

RFI #2: Would the Government allow the use of a civilian radio system instead of a as opposed to military-grade systems?

Government Response #2: Use of the specific frequencies listed are an installation flight operation regulatory requirement as all missions are inside military-controlled airspace. Substitute or alternate means are not permitted.

RFI #3: Will the Government flexibility in the approach to controlling the wild hog population, potentially combining the survey and culling operations?

Government Response #3: The mission for any particular flight, whether counting or controlling or both, is at the discretion of ERDC and installation staff based on the need at the particular time of the flight. Based on the Government's responses to RFI #1 through RFI #3, the Government will not revise the content of the Performance Work Statement.
