SPECIAL NOTICE

VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY: 502D TRAINER DEVELOPMENT SQUADRON (502D TDS) - TRAINER DEVELOPER III (TDIII) THIS NOTICE IS ISSUED AS AN INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. A solicitation does not presently exist.

Industry Day Objectives: The 502d TDS is seeking interested and qualified sources to research, analyze, design, develop, fabricate, integrate, test, deliver, and install simulators, simulator systems and associated components. This requirement also involves the movement & modification of aircraft to design, develop and fabricate mock-up simulators. The delivery location of products and services required under the terms of orders issued against this Single Award IDIQ contract may be anywhere in the world.

During this session, we hope to generate interest amongst industry and stakeholders by sharing information and collaborating with interested vendors to hear your ideas on how to make this potential contract successful. Items we may cover include:

• An overview of our current notional contracting strategy. • A presentation and discussions focused on aspects of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and contract structure.

(Note: The information discussed during this session may be used by the Government to refine its requirements, and finalize the information needed for the upcoming IDIQ solicitation). • Technical Evaluation Factors for GSA/AAS to consider. • The procurement timeline.

Event Information: The TDIII Industry Day is scheduled for June 27th, 2024, from 1300 to 1500 Central Daylight Time (CDT). This will be a virtual event. The meeting will begin promptly at 1300 CDT. Only the entities that register for the event by the deadline below will be allowed to join. This notice is issued by GSA/AAS for the purpose of market research only. The Government will not award a contract based on this event.

This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Federal Government. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred resulting from the vendor’s participation in this event. Please be mindful that the Government will: • Not accept sales pitches or giveaways during the TDIII Industry Day. • Require that your screen be on mute during the presentation. • Publish responses to questions asked AFTER the event but will not do so during the event.

To participate, interested vendors shall: Please RSVP via email by no later than 12:00PM, CDT, June 24, 2024, to Frank Puente at frank.puente@gsa.gov. A Google Meet or Teams invite will be sent NLT noon June 26, 2024, to the primary POC to confirm your acceptance to attend this Virtual Industry Day. Your RSVP must include the following:

Company Name Attendee’s name, and e-mail. The e-mail provided will be used to provide further registration procedures. Limit 2 Attendee’s per company. (Identify primary POC for correspondence). Any questions, comments, or discussion points you would like to see addressed during Industry Day. Please note that due to time constraints and the volume of submissions, we may not be able to address all submitted questions during the event.

In an effort for the Government and GSA to respond to preliminary questions during the Virtual Industry Day, please provide them NLT June 20, 2024. Please note that registration for the Industry Day constitutes consent to the listing of your company and POCs in SAM.gov. Industry day session information and link for virtual participation will be sent via email by Frank Puente, frank.puente@gsa.gov once your company’s registration has been received and confirmed.
