Sources Sought 47PF0024R0048 Project Title: Janitorial and Related Services at Midway International Airport - Transport Security Administration (TSA) Leased Space The General Services Administration is planning on posting a solicitation on, or around May 23, 2024 for Janitorial and Related Services at Midway International Airport located at 5500 South Cicero Avenue, Chicago, IL.

Firms responding to the upcoming solicitation should be well experienced in providing services listed under NAICS 561720 - Janitorial Services. Firms must also conform to the SBA size standards present in NAICS 561720. This is being set-aside for small businesses, any further levels of set-asides will be determined at a later date and based on market research.

Summary Objectives and Statement of Work This procurement will be for Janitorial and Related Services identified in the Statement of Work A full statement of work will be provided with the solicitation, the following is a summary of the requirements: The work will roughly consist of cleaning a 2,000 SF area and providing floor maintenance, carpet and rug cleaning, cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, restrooms, and dispensers (work subject to change at issuance of solicitation).

Cleaning shall take place between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The contractor shall have adequate staff onsite to accomplish cleaning within the contractor’s approved schedule. Some spaces are operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. These areas require additional services and policing. This will be a performance-based contract; the requirements will be stated in terms of desired results with associated quality standards. The contract will be for one base-year, four option-years, and a six-month option to extend services. The period of performance will be 10/1/2024-4/31/2030.

IMPORTANT NOTES: There is no specific storage for contractor supplies or equipment, contractors will be responsible for providing their own storage for supplies or equipment. The facility does not supply water for accomplishing the requirement under this specification, Contractor must provide their own water to accomplish the requirements of the contract. Parking is not provided for contractor personnel, Contractor will be responsible for all parking fees.

This solicitation is currently being set-aside for small business concerns including: small business, 8(a) participants, HUBZone small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns eligible under the SDVOSB Program, and economically disadvantaged women-owned small business (EDWOSB) concerns and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns eligible under the WOSB Program. This set-aside may change, this notice will be updated accordingly if it does.
