This is a SOURCES SOUGHT only. The Government has a requirement for a cost-per-test or reagent rental for fully automated blood culture testing. The contractor is to provide all services, products, and materials to provide a cost-per-test or reagent rental for fully automated blood culture testing. The required reagents and their quantities are detailed in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be five years (base period plus option periods). FOB Destination is VA Medical Center, Bldg 70, Warehouse (90D), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this Sources Sought. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 621511, Medical Laboratories- with a SBA Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 million.
