## Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT only. The Government has a requirement for a cost-per-test or reagent rental for fully automated blood culture testing. The contractor is to provide all services, products, and materials to provide a cost-per-test or reagent rental for fully automated blood culture testing. The required reagents and their quantities are detailed in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be five years (base period plus option periods). FOB Destination is VA Medical Center, Bldg 70, Warehouse (90D), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Responses to this Sources Sought will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.

The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this Sources Sought. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 621511, Medical Laboratories- with a SBA Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 million. PSC is Q301, Medical- Reference Laboratory Testing.
