This Notice of Intent/Solicitation is provided to advise that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to solicit a firm fixed priced purchase order sole source award, procurement of Medicom Imagex Network access to provide peer to peer image sharing service that allows for the electronic, bidirectional exchange of radiology exams and reports and other patient information between the VA and community care partners, to Medicom Technologies, Inc, 555 Fayetteville ST STE 300, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601-3066.

This contract will be used to provide services for various facilities throughout VA Central California Health Care System, VA Northern California Health Care System, VA Palo Alto Health Care System, VA San Francisco Health Care System, VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, and the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System.

Determination of this single source procurement is in accordance with Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per 41 USC 3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It is the Government s belief that the proposed vendor is the only provider of the software that can meet the agency's needs.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513210 (Software Publishers), 47.0 million size standard and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6525 (Imaging Equipment and Supplies: Medical, Dental, Veterinary). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any business that believes it can provide peer to peer image sharing service that allows for the electronic, bidirectional exchange of radiology exams and reports and other patient information between the VA and community care partners may give written notice to derek.brown7@va.gov by 2:00PM Pacific Standard Time on May 17, 2024. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Your response should include a STATEMENT OF CAPABLILITY, GSA SCHEDULE INFORMATION, DUNS#, BUSINESS SIZE, AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS.

THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION.
