Notice of Intent to Sole Source Service for TCGRx ATP Barcode Medication Unit Dose Packaging System

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101 (a) (2) requiring dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is notice of intent to award a sole-source contract pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), As implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.301-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and brand-name descriptions.

The Alexandria Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, LA 71360-4044 pharmacy has a requirement for a Service Plan for a TCGRx ATP Unit Dose Packaging System with LPU manufactured by Chuddy Group, LLC doing business as TCGRx Inc. which includes Annual Software License, Preventative Maintenance, Critical Updates, Functionality Upgrades, Phone Support, Biomed training at TCGrx, On-site Support, Interface Modification, FDB Updates and FDB License.

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Chuddy Group, LLC doing business as TCGRx Inc. located at 106 Roche Dr, Durham NC 27703. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Governments intent to award on a sole source basis.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.
