This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101 (a) (2) requiring dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is notice of intent to award a sole-source contract pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), As implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.301-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and brand-name descriptions.
The Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 510 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101-4243 has a requirement for a Service Plan for a D-SPECT Cardio Scintillation Camera manufactured by Spectrum Dynamics Medical Inc. which includes (1) D-Spect Cardi coverage which covers on-site service, parts, and remote service, includes remote clinical application support.
(2) 4DM Spect License Maintenance which covers integrated license maintenance contract for one year, fixed license configuration direct support plus version upgrades. (3) D-Spect additional Acquisition/Processing Stations service. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Spectrum Dynamics Medical Inc. located at 301 N. Cattlemen Rd.
Suite 109, Sarasota, FL 34232 A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Governments intent to award on a sole source basis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. This notice will close on Friday September 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
