Housekeeping Equipment Repair SLVHCS

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25624Q0593 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The proposed contract action is to support the continuous operation of housekeeping equipment located at the Southeast VA medical center. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Housekeeping Equipment Preventative Maintenance and Services as defined in the Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.

The Contractor shall provide services, which include repair, scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and testing for Housekeeping located at 2400 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119 for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will perform preventative maintenance on a minimum of 129 pieces of equipment listed in the Performance Work Statement for a base period and four (4) Option Years (OY).

Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) and the size standard is $12.5 Million.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04 (01/30/2022). Only emailed requests received directly from the requester will be accepted. RESPONSES ARE DUE, March 29, 2024, by 13:00 p.m. Central Time (CT).
