Intent to sole source Altrix Warming/Cooling Blankets

The requirement will be sole sourced to STRYKER CORP, 6201 SPRINKLE ROAD, Portage, MI 49002. STRYKER CORP will provide cooling blankets for the Altrix system. STRYKER CORP is the only source for required Altrix cooling blankets. The vendor has proprietary equipment that is not offered or authorized to third party vendors. A sole source letter was received from STRYKER CORP department which states that STRYKER CORP doesn t authorize third-party vendors to service STRYKER CORP equipment due to proprietary equipment.

All warranties and guarantees on the system are voided if an unauthorized third-party vendor is engaged. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(c), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 339112 and has a size standard of 1000 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 1:00p.m.
