The VA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) intends to issue a firm-fixed price single-source procurement to Polymedco Cancer Diagnostics Products LLC for_FY26: FIT Analyzer Polymedco-Diana REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The proposed contract is for a FIT Analyzer Polymedco-Diana REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables in order to provide medical testing products.

The current REAGENTS and platform are becoming obsolete and are being replaced by the current products for the new model, which requires the use of new tests (REAGENTS). The products and equipment are utilized to ensure and maintain high-quality testing and disease discovery for medical patients. There is only one company with the capability to provide these compatible testing REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables products.

The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees and PSC 6640. The proposed contract is to replace the current FIT Analyzer Polymedco REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables that is becoming obsolete and is being replaced by the current model FIT Analyzer Polymedco- OC Diana REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables, which the Government intends to solicit, with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).

This is a notice of intent to award a single-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package is available. Firms that want to challenge the single source must show clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the services/supplies, and that competition would be advantageous to the Government.

Those responses are to be submitted via email to CS/CO Email Darrin.Alexander2@va.gov no later than 02/19/2025 at 13:00 and Eastern Time Zone A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NCO-8 will not provide any reimbursement for any costs associated with or connected with providing any capabilities information.
