The products and equipment are utilized to ensure and maintain high-quality testing and disease discovery for medical patients. There is only one company with the capability to provide these compatible testing REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables products. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees and PSC 6640. The proposed contract is to replace the current FIT Analyzer Polymedco REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables that is becoming obsolete and is being replaced by the current model FIT Analyzer Polymedco- OC Diana REAGENTS (Cost-Per-Test) consumables, which the Government intends to solicit, with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).
